In response to the COVID-19 public health crisis, the following office safety precautions are in place to protect patients and help slow the spread of virus:
- Only symptom-free patients and staff are permitted to enter the office.
- Office seating in the waiting room and in therapy/testing rooms have been arranged for appropriatephysical distancing.
- Patients are encouraged to arrive to the office without any additional guests (including children).
- Masks are worn by staff in the office.
- Safe distancing is practiced by office staff.
- Restroom soap dispensers are maintained and everyone is encouraged to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer upon entering the office.
- Hand sanitizer (at least 60% alcohol) is available in the waiting room, reception counter, and therapy/testing rooms.
- We require all patients to wait in their cars or outside until no earlier than 5 minutes prior to their appointment time.
- Physical contact is not permitted (e.g. hand shaking).
- Tissues and trash bins are easily accessible. Trash is disposed of on a frequent basis.
- Pens and other commonly touched surfaces are sanitized after each use.
- Common areas are thoroughly sanitized at the end of each day.
